On my Windows 10 PC I have added and deleted various email accounts to Thunderbird over the passage of time. While you can easily delete the accounts from the application it seems that all the underlying directories stay behind. How do I clean these out?

Chosen solution

To Assume that this is a personal and not shared account ( like an enterprise/work account) which you are logging into.

Locate the parent Directory(ies) for your 'local folders' and right click > Delete the old unneeded directories (folders)
