
e-mails in and out are blocked since this morning
you are updating your version of Thunderbird and now my incomming and outgoing e-mails are being blocked.

If you cannot receive nor send after an update then it is likely your Anti-Virus/Firewall program has not realised that the update is still Thunderbird and not a new program.
You need to close thunderbird and access Anti-Virus/Firewall program and set Thunderbird to be allowed. On one occasion, I had to set to block, ok it and access again and set to allow in order to get it properly allowed.
