Need a contact for XMarks as it is locked on top of Firefox so I cannot browse.

Does anyone know any way to contact support for the extension to XMarks? I have searched all over their site to no avail.

I am in a serious Catch-22 situation. I stopped using Xmarks many months ago and have forgotten my login. The domain where my email account was no longer exists, and without my login I cannot change my email address. Without a good email address I cannot get a new password.

Unfortunately with each update of XMarks the display box to login has gotten smaller and I have never found the handles to drag to make it larger. I just installed Windows 10 and now the XMarks log in box is smaller and the "X" to close it is not available no matter what I do. And the box has control so that I cannot get to Firefox to uninstall the XMarks extension. I am truly boxed in.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in the Firefox SafeMode, and disable or remove that Xmarks extension.

Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

the-edmeister, thanks for the reply, but I have searched all over XMarks help, but it doesn't help because the only way they say to disable or remove XMarks is through the Firefox menu. I cannot use anything or do anything through Firefox browser because XMarks sign in box has control until I log In or close it. As described above, I cannot do either of those things. I will have to use some other browser after loving Firefox for 16 years.
