Running Thunderbird 31.7.0

Two separate desktop machines running Windows 8 affected within 24 hours of each other. Email accounts run under IMAP and the webmail shows full history. However Thunderbird is only showing the first 200 emails in each folder, i.e. in Inbox, Sent, etc. they all have 200 emails but only from the start date. Anything more recent is failing to load.

We have tried refreshing the folders etc. but apart from such basic things we're rather floundering.

Any 'spelt out' solutions would be appreciated. Any updates to Thunderbird will have been automatically made but nothing on the Windows systems was updated during the time between T'bird working fine & now

Thanks to any responders

Hi Wayne

Thanks for the reply. It is yahoo as formerly Sky. However the whole thing has come back today. Very wierd. There were several other similar postings yesterday so it clearly wasn't an isolated incident. Hopefully they're all resolved now.

Regards
