In Alcatel Fire C mobile phone (India), the update button is not seen.How to update?

I bought the Alcatel Fire C mobile phone in India. S/w ver 1.3.0.0-prerelease Firmware release 02001.

In this phone, I do not see the *update* option under Device Information. I see *last updated* showing blank. When I click this, it takes me back to setting menu.

How do I check if there is an update available? And, how can I update to the new S/w when released.

Hi Alcatel.Fire.C.User,

Thank you for your purchase of a Firefox OS device and supporting Mozilla and the Open Web.

I understand that your device is not displaying the "Update" button and that the "Last updated" is not displaying the information correctly.

I would assume that once an update is available, a notification would be pushed directly to your device and you would know about it in this manner. Unfortunately, I do not currently have this specific model in my possession to confirm that this is the standard behavior.

The Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are responsible for releasing the official updates, including any modifications in the code, for the commercial Firefox OS device. Because of this, I would recommend that you also contact Alcatel directly for more precise information.

Meanwhile, I am sharing this with others at Mozilla and will let you know as soon as I find out more information.
