Android Double Synced After Re-install of Firefox problem
I have the latest version of both Firefox for android and Firefox for Mac. The sync was not working so I deleted my android version, and reconnected. When I deleted the android version I had about 8 tabs open. After Re-downloading Firefox and signing into my sync account, i realized my android has now doubled. The tabs I had open in my old Firefox has carried over along with my new set of tabs. I have tried changing my password, deleting and re-making my account, and managing my sync account, but I only have two options: delete and change password. I would like to delete all of the tabs from the old android download and only have the two syncs (mac and android).
Chosen solution
Hi cap3618, I understand the frustration. Sync does not have a feature that gives granular control of what entries are synced as well as wether or not one feature is not synced from on device. It all the devices sync bookmarks or none of them.
In order to avoid this in the future, there are some addons that can create backups of profiles as well as FEBE that backs up https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../febe/ your stuff.
Hope this helps.
