I can not load a website if the address ends with #Something.
So I am looking at this web site (https://www.theroot.com/john-cornyn-blaming-coronavirus-on-chinese-culture-is-o-1842402254), and I have an account on the site and I want to read the comments which is this website (with the #) (https://www.theroot.com/john-cornyn-blaming-coronavirus-on-chinese-culture-is-o-1842402254#replies)... but I can not see the comments on the site.. nothing just the text and then the adds at the bottom.
If I were to go to my settings and delete my Cached Web Content ,,,, I can see the comments, but i have to do that for EVERY web page... not once a session... every time I go to a new page.
This does not happen with my other browser (Chrome).. this has been happening for a few months, I thought it was the web site, but no. I also tried toggling off Ipv6.. no change.
For follow up, I did some testing: - This happens when I run in safe mode (ie: without extensions) - This happens with I turn off Hardware acceleration - This happens with I toggle DNS prefetching..

If you load the same article from the top and scroll down to the comments area, do the comments load? Just wondering whether skipping to the end of the page bypasses some necessary trigger to load them.
To reload the current page without using cached content, you can use Ctrl+Shift+R.

If I load the article and then scroll down, I do not see the comments. If I hit the button at the top, which has me jump down to the comments, also I do not see the comments. however sometimes I see a large white space... like where something should be but it is not, and sometimes there is just the adds..
I tried the ctrl+Shift+R .... no change.
When you deleted Cached Web Content as a workaround, are you letting Firefox keep the Cookies and Site Data, only clearing the cache?
It's unusual because the white frame where comments load is on the same site, unlike sites that use Discourse or Facebook for their comments. So it's not like the usual problem of cross-site tracking blocking; I'm not sure what it is.
Could you try:
New Profile Test
This takes about 3 minutes, plus the time to test the site.
Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.
Click the "Create a New Profile" button, then click Next. Assign a name like Mar2020, ignore the option to relocate the profile folder, and click the Finish button.
After creating the profile, scroll down to it and click the Launch profile in new browser button.
Firefox should open a new window that looks like a brand new, uncustomized installation. (Your existing Firefox window(s) should not be affected.) Please ignore any tabs enticing you to connect to a Sync account or to activate extensions found on your system so we can get a clean test.
Does the site work any better in the new profile?
When you are done with the experiment, you can close the extra window without affecting your regular Firefox profile. (Mar2020 will remain available for future testing.)
Note: if this test changed your default profile, use the Set as Default Profile button for your regular profile to set it back to normal.
I first tried deleting both cookies and content, then when I was playing with it I noticed I could see the comments only by delieting the cashe, so I was doing that... but to be fair I have been doing that like 20 times this morning and it stopped working, I can not see comments no matter what I do.. I delete the cashe.. and just see the white space. (I am assuming here that "site data" and "cashe" is the same thing... when I go into delete the stuff I only have two options, Cookies and Cashed Web content)
I tried the other profile, same thing.. no comments just white space... to clarify there is no "frame", just a screen height or two of blank white space where the comments should be...

For background, Cookies and Site Data contain settings and data intentionally set by the site related to your visit(s), while Cached Web Data contains files and images Firefox may or may not re-use when you visit the site (to economize on bandwidth).
If you right-click the white area, the context menu should have an extra "This Frame" item because an inline frame (<iframe>) is used to embed the comments page. If you click This Frame, one of the options is to Open Frame in New Tab which is a way to test whether that content can load at all, separate from the question of whether there is an embedding problem.
When I open the comment page in a new tab, scrolling is disabled, but if I go to Print Preview, there are numerous pages of content. Do you see any of that?
This is what my context menu looks like.. no Frame option.
I don't see any comments in the print preview, just the article and the adverts.
On mine, the comment frame is just after the More from The Root bulleted list and just before the You May Like advertising thumbnails. (Screenshot attached.)
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
