I want the old version 2 address bar. Any suggestions
Do not the like double line addresses. Want just a single address line, now it looks like
www.Pogo.com (then underneath this address same address line
www. mozillafirefox.com (then underneath this address same address line) etc. etc.
I've downloaded https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/oldbar/ and it didn't seem to make a difference unless I'm supposed to do something with the download afterwards.

The oldbar extension still works fine with the latest version (Firefox 9).

To check whether the oldbar add-on was installed correctly, open the Add-on Manager and make sure that "oldbar" is listed under the "Extensions" section. If it's not there, try installing it using the "Get add-ons" section of the add-on manager.
After installing oldbar, you will need to restart Firefox. If you haven't already done this, there should be a "restart now" link in the add-on manager.
Oh my goodness. I've been trying everything and it wasn't in the add ons and although I did check it the way you said I didn't know how to get it there. Your suggestion worked perfectly and I appreciate your help so much. Should I upgrade to the current version now instead of staying with 3.6 because it keeps asking me to upgrade. I'm afraid to change it because I don't want to lose the address bar the way it is. Let me know. Thanks for taking the time to help me with such an small issue but one that bugs me so bad with the double address line :)
