Why does Adobe Flash player crash so much?

This is not the first version of FireFox that Adobe Flash player crashes on. It happens 2, sometimes 3 times a day, my browser locks up for 45 seconds or so then I see the "Adobe Flash Player has crashed" yet again.

I've read the forums, tried suggestions but it continues to crash. I want to keep using Firefox, but I'll have to switch to chrome and just use firefox for the better firebug.

I'm sure this is adobes issue and not firefox, but there's not much I can do.

Try to disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player.
