The New Tab button with the plus (+) sign on the right side of the last tab does not show on my copy of Firefox 4. What do I have to do to have it show?

Thanks. That restored the New Tab button but now all my Add-ons are disable or at least not showing. How do I get them and their icons to display? I went to Tools / Addons but didn't see any way to "restore" them.
