What does this web page say about your location? http://whatismyipaddress.com/ Under the map, look for Location not accurate?

What city are you in and where does the Geo say you are?
Some are known to show the location of your provider and not your location. Also, are you using your own service or someone else's (public WiFi)?
it says im in salinas ca but im on the coast... and we are using our own service hrmmm
On the Geo link I posted, did you check out; Location not accurate?
Contact your provider and ask questions.
I'm having a similar problem. I live in North Reading, MA. When I go online, it says I'm in Groton, MA. When I went to the first link you suggested (http://whatismyipaddress.com/), on the map, it does say I'm in North Reading. When I go to the 2nd link (https://whatismyipaddress.com/location-feedback), Provider B is my ISP (Verizon FIOS) and it also says I'm in North Reading. Provider A (MCI) says I'm in Boston and Provider C (Verizon Communications, Inc) says I'm in Cambridge. That shouldn't be a problem since neither of them is my ISP. In short, both these links say that I am in North Reading and I am in fact in North Reading. So where is Groton coming from?

I also have this problem. Only on Firefox. I use Chrome and it sees I'm in California. Firefox thinks I'm in Colorado. My ISP is Sunnyvale. Why does this happen?
