Firefox will not allow 'Web of Trust' to install. How do I install the app?

I have tried to load 'Web of Trust' for Firefox. Each time I attempt to do so, through various sites including the WOT site and CNET, it offers to install and says the system will need a restart to work. When I 'allow' the change the screen disappears for a second but rather than rebooting it returns to the original (click to download) screen. This has occurred since the Firefox and Windows update. The app was installed prior to that but is not now.

Type about:customizing<Enter> in the address bar. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but some icons are locked in place.
