I have been trying to google the problem, and entering the troubleshooting options. Firefox 46.0 Win 8.1

TWINUI seems to be the default program for viewing pdf. And I am unable to change this into previewing the pdf files in a browser vindow instead.

Open your file browser and find a pdf file. Right click and select Properties. On the General tab, press the Open With Change button.

Thanks for a very quick reply. But the problem was not solved. Changing the default app to open pdf files, only lead to the a blank browser window, abd a box asking for what to open the pdf file with. Where "preview in Firefox", does not appear as en option....

Try to rename/remove the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.
