Every Software on the Planet avoids succesfully Ram overload why not Mozilla? It's so easy just automaticly restart the backround just not the current open Task

I use Firefox massively, but it is the only Software on my PC that runs into an Ram overload just by time ...and that 5 times a day. It is absolutely irrelevant if i have 3 Tabs open or 600 or 5 Addons or 0 because i browse throug 50-200 Websites per hour. Time by Time which means thousands of times per year i have to Restart Firefox because the PC is not useable anymore. And the Workaround solution sucks so hard. Because after a restart everything is like before just with less Ram usage. Why isnt that possible just by klicking a button irrelevant (not current Tab) Data get the hell out of my ram or do it like every other software in the world skip Data the tool (User) isnt Using currently. i just have google open after 4 hours of Work and this fucking (sorry) uses 3 GB of my ram. And if i restart i have the same Google window with just a few mb Ram. Please fix this some day.. This is THE thing that Sucks with Mozilla Firefox. Everything else is really nice.

First, you are using an old version of Firefox, please update to Firefox 41.0.1, the latest version which has several performance improvements. Update Firefox to the latest release

Firefox does retain a lot of potentially obsolete data in memory for the fast back-forward cache and undoing closed tabs. If you feel you rarely benefit from these features, there are some settings you could modify to reduce what Firefox saves. I'd have to research the ones I think would be most relevant, or you might find articles on the web with suggestions (in addition to our support articles).

Speaking of buttons, though, have you ever tried the buttons on the about:memory page? (Type or paste about:memory in the address bar and press Enter.) You can bookmark it or keep it open in a separate tab and when you notice Firefox starting to get sluggish, try the buttons in the "Free memory" section to see which, if any, are helpful. Since you may be doing this multiple times a day, I think you could gather some really valuable information on the issue.
