I recently deleted a gmail account from my TB. It was a shared account so that account is still open but I have no more need of accessing it. So I went into my TB\Account Actions\Remove Account. It no longer exists on my main TB page which shows my different email accounts. Suddenly, and constantly, I have this window pop up, requesting my login info, which I no longer have. When I close the window, it just opens back up. I have to close it in order to get to my main TB window. It's horribly frustrating. Any ideas??

On replpacing our SMTP server, we've found a strange problem.

Connecting to the SMTP server through TLS, the connection fails, if we add another account, it can't get the configuration data from autoconfig.domain.

Using wireshark it appears that it doesn't even attampt to resolve or connect to the autoconfig server (or connect throughj a proxy).

I can change the SMTP configuration to send insecurely (server can be accessed internally).

If I use a portable copy of thunderbird or start a new User Profile, both autoconfig and connecting to the server works, but all existing users profiles are broken in exactly the same way.

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix the profiles withough removing them and starting from scratch?

Recent new system. Previously used Office Outlook and backed everything up to a PST file. Found I couldn't import into Thunderbird, needed to install Outlook first and import it there. Did that. So I have an Office 365 Subscription active and have Outlook active. Now I'm trying to get those messages to Thunderbird, but when I go to Import and select Import From Outlook I get a red error "No profile found" and can't continue. Is there something I need to do regarding Outlook for Thunderbird to recognize it?

Monday: Computer #1 lost all e-mail use and old correspondence. Computer #2 had e-mail service. Left Computer #2 up with program (Tebra) until account needed verification which needed e-mail to get the code (could not). Now we have both computers which cannot work. what can we do to get our e-mail back???

Contacts with only an Organization and no first and last name will not synchronize to iCloud. I have to add the company name in the last name field to get it to sync. Running version 139.0.2 (64-bit).

Move Thunderbird data to a new computer

I have the complete Thunderbird folder with 15 years of POP mail.

Install Thunderbird on new PC and overwrite the complete folder?

will be the same version of thunderbird.
