I recently changed hosting and now I am getting login boxes nonstop to my old servers. I see no way to remove them and this is so annoying I may have to change from thunderbird. All my emails are there, it just keeps checking for old servers.

I can get all my accounts except my business Gmail account, where I use my business name as the .com instead of Gmail.com.

My current Gmail account doesn't work, so I opened a 2nd Gmail account, now I want to delete the one which isn't working well, because it doesn't have a Posteingang

Please Please Please advise how to modify settings to stop copying emails to "All Mail" folder. There are nearly 14K emails in that folder, and it's killing my capacity, I'm getting warnings, etc. Yes, I'm using Gmail.

Yes, I have unsubcribed from it, starting from my account name → Subscribe → unchecked [Gmail] All Mail. To no avail...

Of course, I do not want to delete mails I have saved in my hundreds of other folders. My mail goes back 25+ years, and I want to keep those archives.

Hello, I created a first account for Mailo email (no problem).

I created a second account for Orange email, but when I get to the contact and calendar search stage, it just keeps spinning (see attached Orange 1). Clicking "ignore" opens a window (see Orange 2). If I click "continue," the account is created and seems to work, but...? Indeed, both Mailo and Orange use IMAP port 993. For the past few days, I've been trying to get this account set up properly, but I haven't found anything specific online.

I've repeated the process several times, even uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird, but nothing has changed. I'm starting to get confused. I even think I deleted both accounts and started the setup process with the Orange one, but it's doing the same thing even though there's no other account. I should mention that the POP/IMAP option is enabled in Orange email.

On my PC I continue to get message about long-ago email address. I cannot delete or even sign into this. Address is : diane@shelteringhands.org Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

I reinstalled Thunderbird and now it tries to access my gmail account even though I didn't add it. I only use gmail when I log into it from a web site. I don't want thunderbird to have access.

As of July 1, I no longer have access to my school account. It was a gmail account that ended in .edu. I have new email account that end in gmail.com When I open Thunderbird it asks me to sign into the deleted account which I no longer have access to. I can receive email in my new accounts but am not able to send email from them. I need to disconnect completely from my old school account but do not know how to do this. Thank you.

Under Account Settings, I have three entries in the left: Company Yahoo Local Folders

Under Company, my POP3 download/remove from server account I've had since the 90s, under Copies & Folders I have "Place a copy in" for "Sent" Folder on: Company. Same for Message Archives, Drafts, and Templates. Under Yahoo I have "Place a copy in" for "Local Folders" for all four. The ONLY reason I have them set up this way is due to the error message that displays if I try and set any of them to be Yahoo.

I recently went to find an email I'd sent last week using my Company account and couldn't find it. I couldn't find any that had been sent for awhile. I eventually found it under Local Folders(I had "Hide local folders" turned on because I can't understand the reason to it to even exist).

What exactly is going on? Is it a bug with the beta? I'm getting really tired of having to move the messages to the correct folder when all of the settings appear correct(my oldest email is from 1996 btw, so I've been keeping current since Netscape Mail)

Hi, I have two accounts in my Thunderbird. They are Gmail (regular gmail account) and CFCC (an institutional account). The CFCC shows up in my Unified Folder list but the Gmail does not. Is that normal? The main Inbox is showing all incoming emails from both accounts so no performance issues, just wondering how to get rid of the CFCC (if that's possible) to eliminate clutter. Yahoo.com decided to be jerks and changed everything to get into our email. I was overseas at the time and got it taken care of for the laptop I was using on my trip. When I got back home I updated the rest of my computers to the new settings. However, this computer I am on, my secondary desktop, absolutely positively does NOT show Oauth as a choice for smtp on my Pacbell.net account which has to go through Yahoo.com. All the other server settings are working fine. I can get email, I just can't resply unless I go to my Netscape.net account which goes through AOL. It shows Oauth for AOL. The rest of the computers, and even a new laptop, all work just fine and all are on version 152.01. Even SeaMonkey email has Oauth for smtp but they have done a terrible job of keeping it updated that I can't use it for my Pacbell.net account because I can't enter the new password. Everything is a blank screen for log in and password entry. I am getting tired of having to reply to messages on my Pacbell.net account through the Netscape.net account. What can I do short of a clean reinstall of windows?

I've completed all the required information when trying to add an account to Thunderbird. The Account Hub finds my email address at Posteo and loads the configuration found out the provider. I then add my password, which I know to be correct as I've only just created it. But Thunderbird keeps telling me there is an "authentication error". I'm at a loss to know what the error is.

I always use Thunderbird to access my work gmail account. However, just yesterday, I started getting messages that my password was rejected. I changed my password, but I get the same message from Thunderbird, though I can log in to my gmail account through the web. The OIT person at my university said that Google has recently changed the security requirements for passwords, and that the security settings for Thunderbird likely need to be altered, but they could not help me do this. Is a new version of Thunderbird needed?
