Often it take more time then usual to load a Webpage, website however I'm not a firefox user for a long time I recently switched to firefox from chrome because it was better in terms of privacy.chrome take less time to load the firefox,I had checked my internet connection many times as we as the my phone, laptop settings to improve the experience of my browsing it won't fixed till now this only issue I found since I'm not usual user so don't know much , thanks for listening till here .

I recently tried to customise the firefox icon on my phone (Android v14). The path: Firefox: Settings>Customise>Select App Icon

Unfortunately I have ended up with two duplicates of the firefox app icon (shown in image) that I cannot seem to remove. The only option shown is to uninstall which doesn't sound right

Is there any way to remove the duplicates or else revert back to the original icon?

I use YouTube on the Firefox browser. Previously, the YouTube search bar was black, but now it has turned white. As a result, when I type something, both the text and the search bar appear white, making it impossible for me to see what I am typing.

Secondly, when I watch a YouTube video in landscape mode on Firefox, if I exit the browser and then re-enter to continue watching, the video automatically exits full-screen mode. It starts showing the video along with the title and channel name again. I want the video to stay in full-screen/landscape mode even after I exit and return to the browser, as it would make it much easier to use. Currently, even though the screen stays in landscape orientation, the video itself drops out of full-screen.

I made the mistake of updating a working version of Firefox for Android and once again I had settings forced upon me. The Settings menu on the bottoms is horrible to navigate and I absolutely do not want nor need it. Apparently now I can't access the secret menu to fix it to the old side view for settings. Is there a way to change this? I'm at the point of frustration.

I have firefox on my Samsung tablet, it began holding onto tabs, looking weird so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now I've lost all of my bookmarks and cannot see a way to get them back.

When browsing on Google Images, any time I swipe from one picture to the next, it is like the image doesn't want to swipe and is actively fighting against me. It is glitchy, bouncing around before I can drag it across my screen.

This is an issue of mobile FireFox, not of my device. Swiping and scrolling on other web browsers, such as Samsung Internet or Google Chrome, is seamless and buttery smooth.

I'm using the latest version of Firefox for Android (149.0.1) on OnePlus Nord (Android 12). I love Firefox and I enjoy having extensions on my phone.

Unfortunately, for some websites (particularly, German news: https://www.zdfheute.de/), Firefox gets stuck loading the website, only showing the empty screen, address bar, and the half-way completed loading bar -- without any progress even after a minute. This happens 50% or more of the times (not 100%), even with ad block turned off.

Opening the same page on Chrome loads instantly.

Dark theme or light theme doesn't switch normally on my phone. In the evening light theme still stays on in the search bar and in the settings menu, white font on white background. Daily fix is to manualy set phone to dark/light theme. This didn't happen when the browser had custon themes. Hope this helps and thank you for your awesome work.

Android phone version 10. I use Firefox browser. A few days ago I cleared cache and Data. Now I have Lost bookmarks, etc. Is there a way for me to restore my Firefox browser? Thanks Danny.

I love that anything I save in my bookmark folders syncs across desktop and the android app. However, whenever I bookmark a page on the android app these days, it always saves it to a specific folder. It used to save it to whichever folder I last bookmarked a page to, but it doesn't do that anymore; it's like it's got stuck and by default now, only saves to a folder that I rarely want to save to. That means that every time I bookmark a page, I have to edit the bookmark and save it to the folder I actually want to save it to.

Now, the way it worked before, if the folder I wanted to save the bookmark to wasn't the last folder I'd saved to, I'd have had to edit the bookmark. But most of the time, I was saving to the same folder as the previous time, so that was fine. But that's not the case now.

So in summary: I have a folder I occasionally save to and that is now the default that Firefox Android saves my bookmarks to. I have another folder (called Books) which I use 90% of the time. So now, I have to edit at least 90% of my bookmarked pages so that they end up in my Books folder, whereas relatively recently, they would have saved there automatically (seeing as Books would likely have been the most recent folder I'd saved a bookmarked page to). So: is there anyway to change the default folder for bookmarks please? Many thanks.

I have always blocked embedded videos from playing like in this article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/playing-videos-firefox-android But more and more sites are allowing videos to play. I have also disabled DRM content. I also use U-block

i open firefox today on my phone and all is gone ! my bookmarks, appearance, choices.... it is as if i've just installed firefox for the first time today if i synchronize i will loose a lot of things for i didn't open another session on a computer since 15 days

fix the issue. Data and history including recently closed tabs, not working on Quit selection. I have to manually select history and then select 'everything' to clear. if i Quit firfox and come back in to it, recently closed tabs with thier history is still present. i have no idea if cache etc is cleared as no way to tell. So i can only manually do it as described above. its a pain not knowing if cache etc is also cleared for banking etc. i would like to revert back to last stable firefox but i cant as only this one is on google play. i suggest you fix it so we can delete firefox and reinstall older version until you have this fixed. it defeats the purpose of Firefox to do otherwise.
