I am using Firefox on iPhone (together with DuckDuckGo as my preferred search engine) and I want to configure it in the most secure and reliable way, without running into blocked pages or limited results.

Here’s what I would like step-by-step help with: 1. HTTPS-Only Mode – how to enable this permanently so all sites load securely. 2. Tracking Protection – which level is best for privacy without breaking websites (Standard vs Strict). 3. DuckDuckGo Setup – how to make it my default search engine in Firefox iOS. 4. SafeSearch – how to set it to the best option (Strict, Moderate, or Off) depending on my preference. 5. General Security – any other recommended settings (cookies, history, etc.) to improve private browsing.

My goals are: • Reliable browsing without “HTTP not allowed” errors. • Strong privacy protection. • Smooth experience without unnecessary restrictions.

I would like to set up Firefox on my iPhone together with DuckDuckGo as the default search engine. My goal is to improve both privacy and browsing performance while making sure I can adjust content settings (SafeSearch levels, HTTPS-only, tracking protection, etc.).

Firefox on iOS states "No saved passwords" despite my desktop having all passwords and sync turned on. Turning off sync, signing out and back in, deleting the app and reinstall, all did not resolve the issue.

I believe that the latest update either has a bug or a new feature that I don’t like. In the past when I went to the homescreen from a search or a website and closed and reopened the browser then it was still in the homescreen. However now when I do the same it always opens the latest search or website that I was in. I would like to have a setting to turn this off unless I missed the setting for it. I would like to add a video of me demonstrating this but for some reason you only have option to add pictures.

When I type a shortened web address into my address bar, such as google.com, and press enter, the address automatically changes to http://google.com before changing/loading to https://www.google.com. Is this expected behavior?

In the last few updates when you use "Bookmark Current Tab" it no longer ask you where you want to save the book mark like it use to in past versions of Firefox. You have to click "Bookmark Current Tab" the "Edit Bookmark" to save it to the folder you want it in. Thanks!

There is no option to save, print, or export bookmarks to the device being used. I don't want to sync with another device; I want to keep a file on my device of my bookmarks. I lost all of them last time I removed and reinstalled Firefox on iOS.

Hello, I have Firefox installed on my pc which is running Windows 11 pro. I also have it installed on my iPhone 16 pro max, m4 iPad pro, MacBook Air & Android tablet. I recently deduplicated my bookmarks on my pc but the change never synced to any of my other devices. I tried signing out of my account on my phone earilier today, by disconnecting & reestablishing sync but it did not help. What might I try to rectify this situation? Safari on iOS has an option called “preload top hit”. It loads the most relevant website or search result in the background while you type so that there is no delay.

This feature is able to be turned off in Safari in iOS, but as far as I am aware, there is no way to do so in Firefox for iOS.

Please add the ability to disable this feature; it is interfering with my experience.

I have relied on Lo Wise for years have all of my passwords scored on it however, as of late my account says there is no passwords for my account even though everything is synced from computer and phone and Firefox and is up-to-date please help

Which settings should I click or disable in Firefox or iOS to allow this while keeping my browsing private? Any step-by-step guidance would be appreciated.

Be descriptive. Saying “playing video on YouTube is always choppy” will help us understand the issue better than saying “something is wrong” or “the app is broken”.

I am getting this error message whenever I try to log into my AT&T account with my user id and password, however it works just fine with Safari Care code: 201 [LU100]
