I would like to set up Firefox on my iPhone together with DuckDuckGo as the default search engine. My goal is to improve both privacy and browsing performance while making sure I can adjust content settings (SafeSearch levels, HTTPS-only, tracking protection, etc.).

Safari on iOS has an option called “preload top hit”. It loads the most relevant website or search result in the background while you type so that there is no delay.

This feature is able to be turned off in Safari in iOS, but as far as I am aware, there is no way to do so in Firefox for iOS.

Please add the ability to disable this feature; it is interfering with my experience.

I’ve noticed that almost every time that I switch from using the Firefox app on my phone to do something else and then come back that my browser will log me out of websites that I had previously logged into to browse. Examples would be Reddit and Amazon where I had toggled them to stay signed in. I’m not closing the app at all so it’s weird that the app is logging me out and it’s getting to be rather annoying since I have to log back in each time. I checked to see if there was a toggle on my settings to clear cookies when I close out of the app but I don’t see it on the iPhone iteration of this app so hopefully someone knows what might be causing this problem!

Using Firefox on iPad (IOS 18.6.2), When working on a any website that have PDF files to view, When trying to open a document, the viewer only shows a black screen with code lines on it. Need assistance to know how to clear the browser settings to restore the viewer.

I believe that the latest update either has a bug or a new feature that I don’t like. In the past when I went to the homescreen from a search or a website and closed and reopened the browser then it was still in the homescreen. However now when I do the same it always opens the latest search or website that I was in. I would like to have a setting to turn this off unless I missed the setting for it. I would like to add a video of me demonstrating this but for some reason you only have option to add pictures.

When I type a shortened web address into my address bar, such as google.com, and press enter, the address automatically changes to http://google.com before changing/loading to https://www.google.com. Is this expected behavior?

Hi, I'd really appreciate help. I got this pop-up on my Apple phone. (Don't remember what I was searching for that landed me here.)

Firefox is completely disabled - can't click move to another Firefox window or anything. And I don't want to click OK.

The only solution I could come up with was to delete Firefox from my device - but it is still backed up in my icloud.

Do you recommend deleting it from my iCloud back-up & then consider trying to reinstall Firefox?

Anything else you can recommend for me to review on my device to see if malware is deposited elsewhere on my device - not just in Firefox?

I’ve dowloaded firefox. i’ve read the tutorials for browsing setting private browsing but the “masked symbol never appears to click. I tried to download from “App Store” the Private Mode but indicated I had it and back to square one. I like it on my desktop bur can’t on my iPhone 11 Pro Max updated to highest release of IOS

I’d like to know how to stay in private browsing in Firefox full-time, like other browsers. It seems that my history is always saved because your browser doesn’t give clear instructions on how to stay in private browsing. It makes you you tab over to private after hitting the + button.

In the last few updates when you use "Bookmark Current Tab" it no longer ask you where you want to save the book mark like it use to in past versions of Firefox. You have to click "Bookmark Current Tab" the "Edit Bookmark" to save it to the folder you want it in. Thanks!

There is no option to save, print, or export bookmarks to the device being used. I don't want to sync with another device; I want to keep a file on my device of my bookmarks. I lost all of them last time I removed and reinstalled Firefox on iOS.

I signed up to use Firefox to avoid Google. I hate how they track you and hate their politics. Then I find out Mozilla uses Google. Suggestions please. I have 5 email accounts (none g mail) and want to search without Google. Will stop using Firefox. Sure looking like one huge corporation owns everything.
