I enjoy Firefox as my primary browser and have for many years. However, it is just a tool and I don't want or shouldn't need to be a Mozilla geek to get things done.

Following a recent update Firefox now opens in what I will call "split-screen" mode as opposed to full screen. This is a nuisance. Yes, I know I can us a a function key BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO AND I WON'T.

I am not technically illiterate, in fact I am a retired IT professional. I did try "preferences", help, etc. But if I have to look more than 5 minutes for an answer it's just not worth it. I have several alternatives for browsing.

So, please, tell me in very few steps how to change this default.

Since Firefox update (informed by Norton tech that pop up activated by update) a "writing" popup appears over face of most of a pdf file. Can't even see the print option so I don't know if it would print. Can't find anyway to get rid of the pop up. Also, after update, I am blocked from Walgreens website. Help please

After installing a Firefox updated on Tuesday, I've been having multiple issues. The first issue I ran into was being unable to log into a work account that I have been using daily for 2 years. I was able to fix that issue by disabling the Enhanced Tracking Protection for that specific page. I tried that same fix for my other issue, but it is not correcting it.

I use a program called signNow to upload documents and send to people to sign/countersign. Since this update, it's not working on Firefox. I tried it on Edge and it works fine. When I upload a document, it's just blank. No text, pictures or anything at all. See attached screenshot. I've tried several documents and none have worked, but all of them have worked in Edge. How do I fix this so I can continue to use Firefox?

Is there any program to recover the profile? Using Firefox and LibreWolf, I find that when I reinstall the program, the saved profile from a previous version isn't recognized by Firefox or LibreWolf. There's no way to recover the entire profile without problems; it can only be achieved by copying a few files from the old profile to the new one.

For a long time, it has been impossible for both browsers to transfer/copy a previous profile to the new installation, for example, from version 137 to version 139.

I cannot get my Roboform Ext. to appear when needed to sign into certain sites or use my CC within my Roboform for purchases! I have all of the areas in the private browsing area, but the Extension still does not work!

Hello. I have noticed the following problem with your browser: at some point, if you have several resource-consuming tabs open (this is a subjective assessment, I have not tested it), almost all the buttons in the browser stop working, namely the tab close button, the extension button, etc., but you can still close them using hotkeys. This problem goes away when you restart the browser.

I should say that this problem appeared not so long ago, about 1-2 weeks ago, when I updated Fedora 40 --> Fedora 42.

Please tell me where the problem might be.

I am unable to receive emails into my Gmail inbox using a normal window. I can send mail but not receive it. I am using a laptop with windows 11. I can use gmail both in and out in a private window. I can use it in Chrome and Edge. It's only Firefox. I've been sending test messages from my Proton account to my gmail account I've disabled all the addons for mail.google.com I don't know anything about pop/imap but I think it must be Firefox settings I've cleared the cache I've tried to sync everything but that only sync between tablet phone and laptop I've asked google for help and gone through the lists including a config check I've closed Firefox and restarted I've restarted my laptop I thought I'd use Private windows and set it all up, signed in on my tabs, saved them to a folder and arranged to start in private using the tabs in that folder but then I had to sign in to everything again when it started. Signing in to Google is a pain in the arse as it is to sign in to X I've spent 6 hours so far...... I've used FF for years, the easy answer is to use Edge but I don't like it that much Please help.

Google, gmail, you tube, etc SUDDENLY cannot load in Firefox on Mac but work fine in Safari on same Mac.

I have Firefox 139.0.1

This was working this morning but stopped in the afternoon. I use Duck Duck Go but I also tried switching to Google browser but got nowhere. Firefox loads everything else just fine. But no Google related sites.

I have deleted history, cache, cookies. Restarted the Mac. Closed and reopened Firefox. Again, all other sites accessed, just not anything related to Google.

I can see gmail on Firefox focus on my Ipad that is on the same internet connection as the Mac. This is really annoying.

Hi there! I am using Mozilla Firefox Browser (v. 138.0.4 as of today) time to time. Once I open the app my front camera starts glitching - white led indicator turns on and then always on, even when I push power button of the device, Windows Hello doesn't work, Zoom/Skype doesn't allow me use camera (saying that it is in use). The only way to fix the glitch - reboot the device (Windows). Then it works again smoothly, including Edge browser and all other apps, until I start specifically Firefox next time. So, something is wrong with the soft, not with the device. Hope someone can resolve the issue...

In the "VIEW" drop down menu, I clicked on "full screen," but how do I get back to the normal window with the system tray showing at the bottom? I need help. Can someone "PLEASE" respond with the answer?

Hello, I am able to log into my hotmail account no problem with all browsers and have always been able to with Firefox but tonight it stops me and gives me a security warning risk. I cannot go to the site out of the blue after years of no issues. How can I resolve this issue? Anyone know whats going on?

When I go to Bankwest online banking, I first put in an 8 digit PAN number and tick the box to SAVE this. Then I subsequently put in my password and the connection is correctly made. Next time I log in, the PAN number is never there. This is very inconvenient as obviously I have so many passwords, etc. to remember. when I used to use Safari, there was no problem. You do put a warning not to save this if the computer is available to multiple users but mine is not. Can you please help me?

Hello, My Firefox browser with Windows 11 does not allow me to add new bookmarks. In addition, even though I reinstalled the Firefox, still I'm dealing with the problems. Please let me know how to solve my problems.

Lately, there are an increasing number of sites that do not display or function properly in Firefox. The recommended browsers are Edge and Chrome, both of these do display these sites properly, neither of which are my first choice as I have reservations of these two collecting personal data with out permission (illegal data collection).

Latest version of Firefox on Windows 11. When I click a 'call' button on a web page tel asks me to choose a program that will connect to my phone. Can anyone recommend such a program? Alan.
