Hi, on my new PC with Windows 11 Firefox shows "save as" window after the download is complite. How can I change it so that this window appears before download starts?

In Protonmail (or is it Firefox?), while reading email I discovered that my tabs apparently disappeared, but then I discovered that my tabs and my Protonmail are now in separate browser windows. Is that because of the update, or something else? I really want my browser to keep my Protonmail tab in the same browser window. HELP.

I am facing a glitch that is as hilarious as it is frustrating. Firefox has decided that my professional life must permanently take place under a massive, virtual Apple Park Rainbow. And I cannot turn it off.

The Tragic Backstory: This is the system-level macOS camera background. Usually, you disable it via the green camera icon ("pill") in the macOS menu bar. However, the moment Firefox accesses my FaceTime HD camera, the macOS camera menu completely freezes. It becomes unclickable.

What I’ve tried so far (and failed):

   Google Meet says "No effects applied". It has no idea the rainbow is even there.

   I used "Refresh Firefox" to completely wipe my profile. The rainbow survived.

   I forcefully revoked camera permissions via Terminal (tccutil reset Camera org.mozilla.firefox). Upon granting permission again, the rainbow immediately returned from the dead.

   Restarted the Mac multiple times. No change.

   Even opening the native FaceTime app to override the toggle failed, because Firefox seems to have locked the video pipeline down.

It seems Firefox is caching or hard-locking the macOS video effect stream and won't release it, while simultaneously breaking the OS-level menu bar toggle.

I love rainbows, but my clients during business calls are starting to wonder about my sanity. How do I force Firefox to drop this video stream and let me return to reality?

Until a week or so ago this site ( https://sites.google.com/view/lve-construction/july-12-2026 ) displayed photos without a problem. It no longer does, just empty boxes. I have not changed any settings on Firefox. Both Edge & Chrome display without issues. See empty image.

Cannot log on to synology when I have been logging on many times before now your browser says Unable to connect. I will need to change browsers if I do not get a response.

When I download with this browser, I cannot open the file and it states download has "failed". Any other browser I use allows me to open the file. I use Firefox most often because I like the way it performs, but the download issue causes me to look elsewhere for a viable browser. I cannot seem to find what is causing the download failure and am hoping you can offer a reason that will provide a fairly quick fix.

I'm unable to open my mail.att.net on my HP Windows 11 computer. The screen shifts to Yahoo mail now. For a time I could click on the "small Person" symbol to log in. That now longer works. The session times out without connecting. I've cleaned and deleted cookies and browsing history. The same login problem now also occurs on my Microsoft Edge browser.

I am signed in to Mozilla account but the VPN plug in never gives me the option to turn it ON. I see the VPN plug in in the tool bar, every time I click on it, it tells me to sign in to my account even though I am already signed in. It never presents the option to turn "on" like I see in the FAQ. The "Turn on VPN" option never appears.

I have already turned off the 3 or 4 different types of firefox suggestions in the settings. Did they add yet another one? I can't find anything about it in the settings. How can I be sure I never get a pop-up suggesting any sort of wallpaper again?

I download my share of media using BitTorrent with Pirate Bay. Just lately, every time I attempt to download something I get redirected to a page, https://ultimatesurferprotector.com/lp5.php, that tries to sell me a VPN and I can find no way to stop this or contact them. I am happy with the VPN I have and have no interest in purchasing another. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? Thank you.

Greetings. I am on Ubuntu Linux OS. Trying to run WhatsApp, I only have a web based option. Messaging, photos, works well, but no Audio. Desktop Speakers and Mic are ON (tested). No "speaker tab" on Firefox. Help!

I have been using Mozilla Firefox on my mobile phone or PC since 2015. So, after so long, I found the Gmail that I used to log in to Mozilla from 2015 to 2018. Now, if I log in with that Gmail, will the previous history or data be restored or will it be Mozilla's?

I'm trying to log in on a new machine, but when Firefox sends the 2FA confirmation code, it never arrives. I whitelisted accounts@firefox.com, but that makes no difference. Is there a way to turn off 2FA? Is there another solution?
