I am a senior with some tech experiance. I would like a browser page with items I enjoy, i.e. news of most recent happenings. Some sports (Baseball/football.) No adds except what I wish to look for. Stocks is very important, Currently watch and read from FOX Business, my preference! Finally, how can I print a manuel on the various componants available with foxfire? I really like to learn by reading at my pace when updating my laptop.

The yandex.kz search engine keeps opening, even though I removed everything in the settings and set it to Google only; whenever I launch Firefox, the yandex.kz URL opens. How do I remove the yandex.kz search engine and keep only Google?

The crossword on the home page today has a clue has a very misleading answer. It gives the clue "a quartet, but doubled", which should be Octet, however it uses the very outdated and (personally believed to be) inappropriate answer as it would make sense that quarTET would then imply ocTET. A more apt clue should have been, "Triad, but for eight". Very aware this is a personal gripe rather than an actual issue, but is there a process where the crosswords are checked or are they pulled from a 3rd party site?

I just got a new Mac laptop and I again chose Firefox as my default browser. I used to have a series small tabs of frequently accessed websites at the top of the firefox home page...like my google email, Amazon, etc. I tried to do that again, only now I end up with a whole series of websites and bookmarks all across the top of the page : Yahoo, Bing, Wikipedia, Twitter, etc,. etc. I want to get rid of this lineup and I'd like to be able to add my personal email, and a few other frequently visited websites. I thought that these small tabs at the top of the page were called shortcuts - but after turning the toggle on an off in firefox settings and not changing a thing - I don't know what they are or how to delete what's there and get my person tabs back. Please help.

when i click my shortcut button in task bar I get 2 tab trying to open. the first on the left is the FF search page and the second is my preferred home page WWW.MSN.COM. The same thing happens if i click the home button in the tool bar. i have tried deleting and reinstalling FF and get the same thing. this has only been happening for aprox 2-3 weeks

Hello, my Firefox updated to v. 155 today. The "Smart Window" is interesting, but it hijacked all the New Tabs and New Windows. Therefore, I am unable to access the traditional Firefox Homepage with wallpaper, search box, weather, recent pages, etc. Instead, there is only a "Smart Search" which defaults to speaking to the AI. In order to perform a websearch, I must select from a drop-down. --> THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF PRODUCTIVITY. It slows me down, and produces a nuisance rather than benefit. How may I access the traditional Firefox Homepage please? I need those features. Thank you!

When I first start up Firefox this populates the address box http://search.anysearchmanager.com/?hsypt=iima&pub_id=3000&affid=A0X7K_set_bfr_H. this is also accompanied with a warning that this is a possibly compromised site. If it is a bad site why does it show up when I open Firefox? HOw do I make it go away?

I am trying to turn off stories that show up on Firefox Home Page. I do not like them, it clutters the homepage. But every time I turn the option off in settings, it automatically reverts back on and the stories do not disappear. This is an update that I am not a fan of as a user.

when I click on a news article it takes me to a paywall instead of just presenting the article an example is USA Today. I don't want to join USA, I just want to read what interests me. Microsoft news does not do that.
