Just downloaded "Hide Google AI Overviews" which is grayed out. in addition, Browsing Safety by Safety is asking for permissions. My question is simple, do I allow the Browsing Safety Etc. permissions and that will allow the Hide Google Etc to run. In addition do I compromise my security by giving Google those permissions?

Why is the assistant no longer available to firefox? why won't olde versions work with current versions of firefox.
