Some application registered links to a certain pattern of URLs to itself. Now every time I try to go to such address, a dialog pops up and asks to open that link in that application, but I neither have that application anymore nor am I interested in doing that. How can I make FF forget that application's setting?

when i open firefox for the first time there is a flash on the screen and then nothing. i try again and it opens a single tab and not all the tabs when last closed

Weird thing happened - Youtube player vanished into nothing and doesn't go back. I tried restart, safe mode, disabling addons, clearing cache and DNS cache. Nothing brings the player back 😐 It happened suddenly. No other problem noticed. Page code looks like something really didn't load.

FF version 132.0 (aarch64) System Ventura 13.6.3

What could it be?

I can't open many internet sites and get the comment that I do not use an actual browser. I did a refresh and cleaning, delete the program, install new, but the problems exists.

I'm running the desktop version of FF 132.0 with no adblockers.

When watching a YT video at 1080p, if I leave the tab to look at other tabs, when I go back to the video playing it's dropped the resolution to 640*360. It is annoying because I don't know if YT or FF is adjusting the resolution.

If have two instances of FF open with YT running in one tab only (on a single tab with no other tabs open), the I browse using the second instance of FF. The video still lowers in resolution, when I'm not actively watching.

Is it FF, YT or perhaps my GPU trying to save bandwidth?

My PC specs are 5900x, 32GB DDR4, rx7700xt running Windows 11.

Recently as updates are done every time i open my home page I get the Mozilla update page in addition to my desired home page. I can't seem to get rid of the congratulatory Mozilla page. Any suggestions ???

Netflix sends multiple error codes when I try watching on Firefox browser. It will play on every other browser I use. As I can only watch Netflix from my computer this is most aggravating. Please fix this update?

Yesterday I could open any or all of the downloaded apps on the screen of my Apple laptop. Today, I can't! WHAT IS GOING ON? Being elderly and not very techie (to say the least!), I need simple answers, no jargon please. Is it because my laptop is 'elderly' in tech terms (Catalina 10.15.7) or what? I've used Mozilla most of the time for very many years, but I might swap to Safari or Chrome instead if this isn't sorted out PDQ.

Since my Firefox updated today (v132.0), sometimes when I swap tabs I get this grey bar appear for a split second at the bottom of the tab. This isn't super consistent, and seems to only happen when swapping from the New Tab page to some websites, such as Twitter and my email, but not others. I've tried disabling extensions to no avail.

Any ideas on the cause of this/how to fix?

I have yesterday installed a Norton 360 upgrade to their search facility. On running Firefox after doing this, my bookmark and tollbar settings are not as that were before doing this.

Other than this, Firefox runs satisfactorily.

Can you please assist on getting these back to how thy were two days ago?

I want the "Ask whether to open or save files" prompt to keep appearing (see attachment).

My grudge is with the default option that comes preselected when it appears.

I'd like it to be "Open with" instead of "Save File".

Is this possible?

I've googled this issue and also searched this site but the answers I've found are either pretty dated, unhelpful or not working currently.

Would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction, confirming if what I want is actually possible (I'd swear it is, if memory serves right) and if so, how to achieve it.

хз, шо я сделал с браузером, но например, открываю постман и при входе получаю нон стоп загрузку проверки а если открою же его через приватный режим - всё ок. Мб кто сможет подсказать, шо я такое натыкал в настройках браузера
