in my opinion downloading files requires much time compared to other browses so i just wanted to request if you can help to improve the way of saving files.thanks bold text

I've been using what I gather is an "older" profiles system via about:profiles.

Now if I:

1. go to about:profiles and open my second profile in another window, 2. close second window and about:profiles page, 3. open about:profiles again in first window,

I get "Another copy of Firefox has made changes to profiles. You must restart Firefox before making more changes."

This happens every single time, even though I've made zero changes to profiles, and is extremely annoying.

Can/should I migrate my profiles to the new profile manager? How to do this?

I have saved passwords on my firefox account in my desktop but my hard disk got problem so i reinstalled windows. all data gone.

but when i logged in again in my firefox account then no passwords are being showing up now. How can they be restored

I had privacy and security set to clear all sites and cookies upon closing Fire Fox. When I formerly clicked the "Star" on Search in tool bar, with the "Show Editor when Saving" checked I then choose the folder to which I wish to save the Web Page. By unchecking the clear all, I thought I had the problem repaired. No, Today when saving a new page it does not appear in my folder of choice. It does show in "Recently Book Marked", the "gear" symbol. I have refreshed Fire Fox, replaced my settings from the Customize Tool Bar, but still not functioning. How does one reset Fire Fox to save to the folder of choice? I am not aware of what settings I have changed. I can export all to off site, but where does the system keep them, I think it does? I have over 4000 book marks. Is there some limit? Thank, JJE

How to disable password saving in Firefox? Why? I run into situations when my passwords for various web sites that I visit via Mozilla/DuckDuckGo become compromised, or the problems involved seem to indicate that is a possibility. I do change passwords periodically but prefer that to happen less sporadically. My current problem has to do with Amazon.com. lots of mischief going on these days. I need to tighten down password access possibilities for that website. So now I want to change my password for Amazon, but Mozilla wants to save it and I want to stop that from happening. How to do that?

Every time I add an extension I am asked if I will pin the extension to the toolbar. I try to uncheck the box because I don't want to pin the extension, but the check mark won't disappear. The pinned extension icon on toolbar disappears after I click the box and the check mark disappears after I move the cursor off the box. This happens after 146.0 was released and the same thing does on Beta and Nightly. I am confused by this and hope this will be fixed.

Is there a way to make firefox show long titles in popup on hover. The default behavior is to show link address which is redundant because the link address is already showing in the bottom left corner on hover, but long titles are partially hidden.

IIF I hit my round face circle top right ff toolbar, I am currently on "original profile' but can tap for two others, 'test 1' and one i named 'mac 13', which then appear in large white squished flower thing-icons!! Click trash on either id I want to remove just sends me to "welcome to Firefox" page, and seems to want to go thrrough a set up set of screens, usually w. a "we love keeping you safe.." pop up and "skip step. I DON'T WANT TO ADD PROFILES, ONE IS ENOUGH!!! HELP!

I HAVE NOTICED ON START UP, MY ACCOUNT NAE HAS A YELLOW FLAG TOP RIGHT PROFILES, AND A WHITE FLOWER. MY BOOKMARKS DISAPPEAR UNTIL I PICK A PROFILE AND ALL THREE SHOW UP AT SME. TIM ON MAC DOCK!!!! HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE EXTRA PROFILES, WHEN THEY WON'T DELETE UNDER "TRIPLE LINES IN TOP RIGHT SCREEN/CLICK ON PROFILE/MANAGE PROFILES/.pictture icons appear of ea. look like large flowers....I press delete on any of them and I get a black screen (removes me fom even the correct profilee I was using)!!!!

I bought a new PC and when I try to sync to the browser I don't receive the confirmation code by email (yahoo). I saved the address in my contacts, nothing. The problem has persisted for more than a month. What can be done? Thanks

My phone has been hacked by someone from the Middle East I have a bogus email is hacked my it has my passwords from Firefox I don't know what else to do but I need help in recovering this and getting this person out of my life

When I click "show all history", it appears in a script I do not know, but the name and URL below that list appears in English. I have gone though all of the settings options and everything is set to appear in English (US or UK), without a hint of any other language. I've quit and restarted Firefox, and restarted my Macbook Pro laptop running OS 14.8.3. Nothing changes. Thanks for any suggestions!
