I reset my PC and saved the wrong profile path, so i cant restore my thunderbird profile the normal way. However, I exported the profile to my phone and the thunderbird android app, where it is still stored. Can I export my profile from the App to then import it on the PC version? thx for your help!

I have been experiencing this issue for a while, but only just now noticed it. When I hover over a tab, nothing shows up; no preview, no title, no web address, nothing. I have a few extensions, but uninstalled any that would effect tabs at all, with no change. All other extensions I have had since I switched over to Firefox. I have attempted to search for solutions, and have followed what I found. Multiple support questions here have gotten the answer of going into the config to change the following Boolean variables to be true:

   browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled 
   browser.tabs.hoverPreview.showThumbnails 

but when I went to do so, they were both already set to true. I disabled and then re-enabled them just to check, but nothing changed. I have a ridiculous amount of tabs open, but that's the only other thing I can think of that would be causing this issue. Just in case, I am in the process of closing as many as I can.

Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.

How can i download a pdf of my passwords. I think i need to set up a lock screen first. Please give precise instructions how to accomplish both these tasks. Im having great difficulty signing in and out of sites so until i figure out how and why things have changed i need a list of passwords. My device is currently unlocked. I have trouble finding my way back to my questions here. Why doesnt firefox have a history function? Sometimes it does but its not recent. I put all these questions together because its too difficult finding my way back to every individual question. I have a hundred questions about firefox so many that its daunting to consider as it would take me days to do and its time i dont have. For the last several weeks, Firefox has been prompting me to "Please enter primary password" multiple times per day or even per hour. If I do so, the dialog box goes away, only to come back again later. I'm finding this very frustrating.

Firefox does always prompt for this when I start it, as it has for many years.

I tried the recommended solution for a similar problem presented here but it didn't help.

This started some time after I updated from 130.0.1 to 133.0, but I have no idea whether the update is the cause.

Can anyone recommend what I can do to solve this or at least to investigate it further?

All my tabs disappeared. I did not update Firefox or shut down the computer. All I did, which is what I always do, is empty history and close firefox, then put computer to sleep. This has happened before and is very disappointing.

i'm on windows. Suddenly, PDF files that I open have black pages. I checked that the default setting is to open pdf files in Firefox, as always. refreshing doesnt work. Any ideas what is wrong?

The last week or so, when I try to download my photos from iCloud, Firefox blocks the download, saying it contains a virus or malware. Of course it does not - it's a zip file of screenshots! Running a scan on the folder once unzipped confirms there is nothing malicious in it. Can you fix that please?

I enter the primary password for saved password when starting FF as prompted. It takes password fine and works just fine on sites just as designed and has worked for years. Lately last couple weeks since last update to 132.0.1 I notice a change. I didn't notice before this update. When starting Firefox it asks for primary password which is normal, I enter it and all is fine. I can go to sites and all works fine, passwords and user id are entered when prompted. However, later in the day when I go to a site wanting password, I get the prompt to enter primary password again. That never use to happen, once I entered the primary password, it didn't prompt again unless Firefox was restarted. Has anyone else seen this? Maybe it started and I just didn't notice some time ago. I know it wasn't that long ago the primary password prompt didn't have the little eye so you could see what you typed. I liked that, because FF for whatever reason wasn't always realizing I had the shift key pressed. Now with the eyeball I can see that it doesn't have what I typed, but that is not the problem I am asking about. Below is what Mozilla says about primary password:

Important: After you have defined and set your Primary Password, you will be prompted to enter it once for each Firefox session, when Firefox needs access to your stored passwords. This also applies if you want to add, remove or show a password.

I have asked this question before but now it is happening again. Images inserted in emails (not attached) are showing as big white squares with a weird icon in top left corner. This is a store which emails a couple of times a day. Other emails appear ok. I'm old so be kind. :)
