when I click on a link it disappears though the info is there & submit buttons on websites aren't there tho' info is.
links always disappear when they have been clicked on tho' info is still there if I can remember where the link is located. Websites such as credit cards and mail order are missing their submit or continue buttons.

Thanks cor-el. I went to Accessibility on Control Panel and unchecked it. Everything is going smoothly now. What a relief!

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
