How can I remove an unwanted 'Yahoo' menu that has appeared on my Menu toolbar?

This appeared along with the Yahoo toolbar when my daughter was using the PC. I can get rid of the toolbar but not the drop-down menu on the Menu toolbar - customise doesn't seem to work. Any thoughts gratefully received! Thanks Peter

Chosen solution

Go to tools/options/manage addons button on lower right and then delete yahoo toolbar. It will option to restart firefox. When it restarts the yahoo menu is gone also.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Go to tools/options/manage addons button on lower right and then delete yahoo toolbar. It will option to restart firefox. When it restarts the yahoo menu is gone also.
