I switched from Outlook Express to Firefox and now cannot receive my gmails.
When I switched from Outlook Express to Firefox I can no longer receive my emails from Google. Is there something that got missed when changing?

Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Outlook are two different programs with two different purposes. Firefox is a web browser used to browse the internet. Outlook is a program that is mainly used to send and receive email and does not have a web browser. If you wish to receive and send emails in the Firefox browser, you will need to use web-based email. All your emails that are in Outlook will also be in Gmail's (Google) web-based email. http://www.gmail.com is Google's web-based email. Simply enter your username and password.
Furthermore, Firefox has many extensions that you can install to provide extra functionality. There are many that make it easier to access your email in Firefox. Gmail Manager and Webmail Notifier are my two personal favorites. If you need further assistance installing these extensions, see this article.
Hope this cleared things up. Let us know if you have any more questions.
