Hi there. Hoping someone can help me resolve this.

My Thunderbird email account is connected to Sage Online (promo products and apparel platform). If I click on an item and choose to share it with a customer, an email will open and will usually include the said link to the item automatically. The email will populate but the link is not generating. I've included a screen shot of the error attached, but I can't open it.

The tech team at Sage has already looked into the matter on their end. They tell me the issue resides in Mozilla/Thunderbird.

Can someone please help me out?

Not sure how you are doing the 'share'. If I have a webpage open (in Firefox), then Edit/Email Link..., a new message opens in TB with the link in the message body. With Edge, right-click on a page, Share, Default mail app (which is TB), and a new message in TB is launched the same way with the link.

Great question. In order of operation, this is the way it works. When I create a presentation inside Sage Promo Products, I can either choose "Email Link" or "Email Link with attached PDF". See attachments. When I click on "Email Link", Sage platform will usually populate an email inside TB and show the link. Currently, this option is broken.

The later option is send "Email Link with attached PDF" which when pressed, an email populates inside a TB and show an email with the product link and PDF. This part works fine.

How is it that when I click on "Email Link", the link is not populating, however Email Link with attached PDF works properly?

I continue to get a "mapi-1" error. How can Sage Tech Support team help fix this?

I've no idea why one works but not the other. Possibly due to a mismatch between TB and Sage, e.g. TB is 64-bit while Sage is 32-bit, or vice versa. Or, lack of complete MAPI support in either app.

I get that, but can you ask someone else? It worked for 5 years prior to this month. I know it works and it did for a long time.

If it worked before, maybe Sage is 32-bit but TB updated and installed the 64-bit version over the 32-bit version. Help/About TB to see 32 or 64-bit. Apparently, Sage comes in 32 and 64-bit. Note this has no connection to your 64-bit Windows, which supports 32 and 64-bit apps.
