double spacing of bookmarks
Hi, Why do we have double spaced bookmarks forced on us ?. It is an unnecessary nuisance having to now scroll down, with absolutely no advantage. Why o why is it that when the 'developers' ? are let loose the result is always less user friendly. I have only opened an account to let mozilla know that despite being with them for ever, unless you can tell me a simple and permanent fix, i will be changing to another browser. Hi, Screenshot will not work on the bookmarks list. It only reverts to the previous window.
The change was made several versions ago, FF89 initially. For bookmarks, there is a fix of sorts. If you choose compact mode (which is "not supported"), the spacing is reduced. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compact-mode-workaround-firefox
Hi Terry, Thank you for your reply . I have been avoiding updates for some time now for this reason, but i now feel i should update for security reasons. I will try the fix, but i am still at a loss to understand the thinking that makes things more difficult than they used to be. Thanks again for your reply, David
