PDF View instead of PDF Download

I use KOFAX PDF software as my default viewer and up until recently, when I viewed a PDF using FIREFOX and according to my personal settings, it would open using KOFAX and I could view and then download if i desired. As of recent, without me changing any of my settings, FIREFOX opens the PDF but will download the file every time. I want to be able to view and then download if I so wish, not, view and auto download. I have tried every combination under Settings / Applications. This is a big issue for me as I view multiple PDF's and have to empty my download folder. This was a major factor in me choosing and recommending FIREFOX to friends, family & business associates. As I stated before, this was never an issue until recently.

Firefox download behavior has changed. When you choose to open a file with an application, Firefox now saves the file to your Downloads folder. In previous versions, when you opened the file in an application, the file was still saved to the Windows Temp folder, even though you didn't realize it.
