Titlebar occasionally showed up, and even you cannot switch it off through Customize settings... Also sometimes Bookmark bar shows up occasionally, for this I tick and then untick again to disable it, some type of bugs... Is it Window Manager issue? But then why before it worked...

You can try Firefox from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution to see if it behaves differently.
