Hello iain6,
I haven't been able to find the answer - unless someone else sees this and
comes up with a proper solution; maybe you could give this add-on a try :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clipboard-manager/
Any good ?
I am sorry but this still doesn't help and still get the message.
Thanks

That's what I was afraid of ..... :(
Let's wait and see if someone else wil come to your rescue.
'Been doing some more searching, and want to ask you :
Does pressing Shift + Insert (or Fn + Insert, depending on your keyboard) work ?
Sorry this still doesn't help. It used to work but isn't now when I have had to reload Firefox.
Keeping my fingers crossed that someone else will come to your rescue .....
Are you using toolbar buttons in an editor on a web page to copy or paste clipboard content or is the clipboard accessed otherwise?
Clipboard access via a button (i.e. initiated by the user) should work, but other ways to access the clipboard are not allowed.
Try to use keyboard shortcuts in case the buttons on the web page or other methods aren't working.
- Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (Mac: Command+C)
- Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command+V)
- Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete (Mac: Command+X)
