Address bar empty, shows ho history

Have Firefox77.0.1 on Win10pro desktop. Used to keep about 10 websites displayed in address bar. After the latest update the address bar is empty, I can access websites by typing in url every time which I don't want to do. I want shown saved websites which I get with one click! Search works OK in this bar but I need displayed sites which I use regularly. Please help. Should I reinstall Firefox?

hello tpetr, following configuration changes to get the old address bar back: 

  *  Load about:config in the browser's address bar.
  *  Confirm that you will be careful.
  *  Search for the following preferences and set them all to FALSE
       browser.urlbar.openViewOnFocus
       browser.urlbar.update1
       browser.urlbar.update1.interventions
       browser.urlbar.update1.searchTips
       browser.urlbar.update1.view.stripHttps
   * Restart the Firefox web browser.
