Hi, long ago I worked with TB and my profile does not support the Lightning (Calendar Management) function. If I want to bring my old TB profile lets say to a new computer running Win 10 its fine and I know how this works. The problem on the Win 10 system: I have no Calendar functions. Want I want now is the following:

  • Install a new Win 10 system and create with TB Profile Manager a new profile.

I know the new TB profile is capable to support Calendar functions so this is want I want.

  • Then Import all the important files from my old TB Profile into the new profile.
  • A manual file copy of lets say prefs.js, session.json, places.sqlite, abook.mab etc. from the old TB profile to the new TB profile does not work so the question is: how can I import the old profile files to the new just created TB profile???

ok lets start at the beginning with the statement "my profile does not support the Lightning (Calendar Management) function". Why not? I have never heard of a profile that did not.

Do you have the Lightning add-on installed? without it the calendar does not exist.

Hi Matt,

sorry for my delayed answer.

You are 100% right. Lets say 10 years ago I tried it to install the Lightning add-on but that does not work. I don't know why. So I came to this question how to create a new profile with old values.

But: Today I tried it again with the the Lightning add-on and it works. So my question was answered.

Thanks for help.
