You will be able to try again in 24 hours. You can't override a locked account. For more information see Forum response - Firefox Sync Verification Email FAQs.
To prevent this from happening again, make sure that you don't have an automated reply (or vacation reply) configured on your email address. Sometimes Firefox Accounts detects this as an error message.
