I did a restore on the latest Firefox for Mactinosh and this time, all my saved logins were deleted. Okay, so crap happens. Not the end of the world. I start to revisit sites and begin to "reassemble" my saved logins clicking on SAVE for each drop down box that pops up from my new entry. Lo and behold, after I visit about 15 websites and "save" my logins, I'm noticing that I have to always click SAVE when I REVISIT these sites. Strange. So I go into my Preferences and examine Privacy & Security, open SAVED LOGINS and find absolutely N-O-T-H-I-N-G listed. WTH???

I have done multiple RESTORES (to default settings) and nothing is allowing me to begin building my saved logins.

I'm running Quantum 63.0, Mac OS Mojave 10.13, iMac desktop.

Pete

Do you have a logins.json.corrupt file in the profile folder?

You can try to rename or move logins.json and key4.db and, if present, key3.db in case there is a problem with the files that store the passwords.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

If you use the Time Machine or other backup then try to restore the logins.json and key4.db file(s) from this backup.
