Unticking the "Remember Password" field when creating gmail accounts seems to have no effect
I have like eight email addresses with unique providers. With the sole intention of memorizing my passwords (they're enormous and super random) I have consolidated them in thunderbird thinking that I would be forced (or could arrange to be forced) to log into each account every time I open the program. While this has worked for 7 of my accounts, gmail seems to stay signed in. How do I change this behavior?
Chosen solution
It seems the reason my gmail password was being remembered is because of google authentication protocol -"OAuth2" does some kind of alternative encryption mumbo jumbo that Thunderbird has to deals with by storing it in place of where your normal password would go for other accounts, the Thunderbird password manager. To fix the issue I followed instructions from this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1171201
