I have lost "my favorites" list with this latest update. How can I get them back?

I had a "favorites" list that would appear when I clicked on a symbol in the task bar. Now they are gone. This happened with the new update. How do I get them back?

Can you check to make sure the toolbar that it was located on is visible? Check the customize and/or alternatively check all bookmarks to verify they are still there or not.
