how do i register?

I couldn't figure out how to sign in or register or what it was an option for. It looks like it's for support questions and hopefully I did this correctly because after not finding any answers to anything I finally ran across a box that said something to the effect of "question still not answered", so I clicked on that and got to a page to sign up for a new account. I put in my e-mail address, created a user name and password and hope this is right. I just want to know where and how to ask questions and get help if I need it in the future. I guess my first suggestion would be is to have a create account option next to the sign in icon. I hope I just didn't miss something and I'm not the only one having this problem. Other than this the site works great so far.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

When people come here asking for help on something, Mozilla prefers people ask it in a new thread of their own vs asking the question in a existing on going thread started by somebody else (hijacking) even it is about the exact same subject..
