up to date and still not syncing, what gives?

Both of my devices (desktop and laptop) are up to date and both are signed in. But its not syncing. None of the "support" items help. What's next?

Open the Customize menu and drag the arrow/circle icon to the toolbar, hit save. If you hover over this icon what is the Last Sync time/date?

What is not syncing? Have you check the check boxes?

Did you disconnect the account and reconnect?

If you answered yes to all:

  • How do I turn on sync logs:
  1. Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
  2. Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
  3. Logs and error messages will be located here
