My font has changed recently to where it is hard to read. I thought it was my computer until I used Internet Explorer and it's fine on there. I tried changing the font size and that doesn't fix the issue. When the font is small, it's hard to read and the letter "e" has no line in it. On google search all the font has little dots above the letters. I will try to post a few screenshots of the comparison. My wife lets our 23 month old play with the keyboard and I'm sure he hit something.

hi skbrown0309, this is probably caused by microsoft update kb3013455 which can cause font rendering issues on vista:

After you install security update 3013455, you may notice some text quality degradation in certain scenarios. The problem only occurs on systems that are running Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2003 SP2. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.

one option may be to roll-back this particular update for now until there is a fix by microsoft or you could also look if there is a graphics driver update available on the website of the vendor (intel/amd/nvidia) which might also resolve this problem in some cases.

I went into Content and changed the default font to Arial Size 16. Then I clicked on Advanced and changed the entries as follows:

Sans Serif Size 16 Arial Arial Times New Roman Size 13

Minimum Font Size 12

and I unchecked allowing pages to use their own fonts, and it solved the problem.

Note that disabling "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" will cause issues with websites that use an icon font that is downloaded instead of an image to display icons.
