Hi I want to customize my two bars so that my top bar is navigational tools (back, forward, reload, home etc.) and ten address bar and search bar. I then want the second bar (below top bar) to be menu bar (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help) and then the tabs.

I can do practically all of this but can't move the menus bar. When I scroll over it in customize, the cursor never turns to the hand to move it, HOW DO i DO THIS?? Should be simple I hope.

Many of us are using Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) {web link} Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).

This may be able to help with what you want.

Hi and thanks...I forgot to put that I am indeed using classic theme restorer and that helps quite a bit overall but either I cannot figure out how or it cannot do specifically what I am looking to do.

Thanks

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

Both the menu bar items and the tabs are locked to their own toolbar and can't be moved to other toolbars, so it isn't possible to achieve what you want.
You could hide the menu bar and unhide it when needed by tapping the Alt key or pressing the F10 key.

Maybe look at:

Thank you so much for the information. It's good to know at least that nothing can be done about it currently...although it's a bit frustrating and doesn't seem fully "customizable" to me. I've put my nav controls to the left of the tabs for now, saves some space on the top row...hopefully it'll do.

Thanks again

Ben
