HTTPS-Only Mode is available for Firefox for Android. You can turn this setting on or off.

HTTPS-Only Mode is available in Firefox for Android. When it is enabled, Firefox will automatically establish secure, encrypted connections to websites whenever possible. This is especially useful when you are using a public Wi-Fi, where you can't be sure of the integrity of your internet connection.
