Downloading Firefox updates

Tried to update to 95.0.1 today, running Win 10Pro v21H2, but this problem existed with prior Win 10 builds and with prior FF updates.

I click Help>About, and it checks for updates, as expected. When it finds an update, it attempts to download it but doesn't appear to download anything (0 bytes of 6.9 MB) even though the circle continues spinning, or it says 'update failed'.

If I exit FF and reopen, it immediately goes back to that same download screen with the spinning circle but it's stuck showing 0 bytes of 6.9 MB.

But, when I Restart Win 10, open FF again and click Help>About, it immediately shows the button to Restart to Update Firefox. So it seems the download actually succeeded, but isn't being properly detected or properly queued for installation...

Once I click Restart to Update Firefox, it closed, launches the update and FF reopens, so the update had been downloaded and worked.

Thanks!
