Are you trying to use a feature of a Microsoft website in Firefox? Or are you trying to use a built-in feature of Windows such as Remote Desktop (RDP)?

Is there an error message that mentions a security problem?

I would add: if you are having problems using a Microsoft website in Firefox, try using their Edge browser for that site, or the old Internet Explorer 11, just in case the site uses features that only work in Microsoft's own browsers.

Also, beware of scammers who pretend to be Microsoft and want to access your computer. Be stingy with remote access.

Contacted Microsoft to be able to find out why I couldn't update me virus and threat protection. They tried the remote thing but after I ran their program they sent, the connection wouldn't happen. Trie 3 times.
