Since my credit union merged, firefox will not remember my sign in credentials. Edge browser does. Firefox remembers all others. The new credit union merger is Peak, Was NWCCU.

How to disable password saving in Firefox? Why? I run into situations when my passwords for various web sites that I visit via Mozilla/DuckDuckGo become compromised, or the problems involved seem to indicate that is a possibility. I do change passwords periodically but prefer that to happen less sporadically. My current problem has to do with Amazon.com. lots of mischief going on these days. I need to tighten down password access possibilities for that website. So now I want to change my password for Amazon, but Mozilla wants to save it and I want to stop that from happening. How to do that?

A few days ago my saved passwords all disappeared. I have been logging in manually and when I do Firefox asks if I want to save the password and I click yes. The password then shows up in the saved Passwords. But... in a day or so it disappears again. What's going on? I have not changed any settings.

latest version of firefox sometimes will not ask to save passwords or remember them. seems if i try to set up a new password it doesn't want to save it, but set up pass key instead. thanks

latest version of firefox will not let me save a password on a new website, it has always worked before, see image for settings. website is not included in exceptions

I am running Firefox 145.0 on a Windows 10 desktop PC. Even though I am using an external Password Manager (DualSafe Password Manager), Firefox keeps asking to save passwords. When I look at the privacy & Security section in Settings, Ask to save passowrds is ticked and also greyed out. To access the setting, I have to disable DualSafe. The setting becomes accessible and unticked. I then re-enable DualSafe. If I then close Firefox, the setting is re-ticked and greyed out when I start Firefox again. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this?

In this version, do I still have another account and password from other application that already saved before in the past version?

On my previous laptop using Windows 11, a dialog box would open when I entered a username and password while online, asking if I wanted to save the username and password. On my brand new laptop, that dialog box does not come on screen. Id like to be able to store that info so I don't have to enter it each time.

Primero antes de responder a tus preguntas le digo que inicio sesión con, Chrome sin problemas sin tener que teclear la complicada contraseña, cuando inicio sesión con FireFox tengo que abrir fichero encriptado donde tengo todas mis contraseñas, copiar y pegar, obviamente este problema es porque FireFox no guarda contraseñas.

Respondo a tus preguntas.

1) borro todas las carpetas de FireFox y limpieza del registro de Windows, con el programa Ccleaner

2) uso la cuenta de FireFox sin sincronizar. (siempre lo he hecho así, sin problemas)

3) Como bien sabes al iniciar instalación nueva FireFox dice crear nuevo perfil, clic en aceptar, Termina la instalación y el problema persiste. Antes de la actualización guardaba contraseñas. Es la primera vez que pasa este problema, llevo utilizando FireFox más de 30 años. Antes de actualizar a versión 14.03 no había problemas de contraseñas

After every restart, all passwords are gone and I have to re-import them from a file. What's that about? It happens after every Firefox update. So I have to quit Firefox and reinstall it.

how to save my passwords? Like gmail, and facebook, and other sites? When i use Safari the passwords are automaticaly saved. In Safari I don't need an special configuration,but in firefox all of my passwords are Lost. How i do in a correct way?
