The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I can't search up anything. Every time I search something lets say youtube, it just tells me page isn't redirecting properly. Ive already tried moving my settings from strict to standard, clearing all my site data and cookies, and resetting the browser. I don't know what else to do.

For a few weeks now I have been unable to obtain email addresses from my bt address book when sending emails. If I type an address it often disappears when I press send. This makes it nearly impossible to send to a team list.

BT tell me that the email set-up is working well and it must be a server problem. They suggested clearing the history and cache on FireFox which I have done but no change.

Other servers seem to be ok but I don't really wish to change from Fire Fox which I have used for years and well set up.

Please could anyone advise?

I have enabled the option to open the previous windows and tabs. I had one window that I always closed last as it had a lot of groups that are important for my work, so it used to open every time I started Firefox. Sometimes, even if I closed the window by mistake without closing other windows, I was able to get it back by pressing ctrl+shift+n.

But yesterday, I might have closed it by mistake and when I pressed ctrl+shift+n , it didn't come back. I wasn't able to access my window and now it's all gone. I don't see anything in recently closed windows in history.

I need those tabs back as they are very important for my work. they were a lot of tabs. I had many groups but now all are gone. I tried by using the previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backup by renaming it in the default-release profile as sesstionstore.jsonlz4 but still wasn't able to access my window.

I didn't clear my history as the tabs opened in the window still show up in the history.

Kindly help as soon as possible

Since I upgraded from FF128-esr to FF140-esr I always get the "Firefox is being updated by another instance" This is really driving me crazy, as I checked / did / .... everything (and even more) I found on the internet related to that.

Nothing helps !

Creating and using a new default profile didn't help

Finally I ended up uninstalling FF completely (making sure no -zero- leftovers remained in ProgramFiles, AppData a.s.o.), and reinstalled FF140.7.0-esr freshly. After installation I started FF immediately with the created default profile (only existing one) --> SAME THING : "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

And this is really a FF140 thing, when I go back to FF128, on the same computer, same profiles, ...., the problem is gone.

I would like to know in detail what checks are really done by FF to decide to give that "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

Using Firefox, 148.02, on windows 10, 22H2, 19045.6937. .I have a single page on Paypal that initially displays correctly then almost immediately becomes very large and shifts to the left. See attached image.

I see it correctly in Edge. Have tried minimizing and restore, reduced screen then restored, tried F11 full screen. No help. Tried various scaling and Firefox zoom settings. They don't help and every other page is distorted. This is the only page I have a problem with. It's got to be how that page sees Firefox. I've talked to Paypal support, they say they have no problem. Can't find anything on Mozilla/Firefox help

I have a Mozilla account. On one laptop, I am logged in automatically when I open Firefox, and can access bookmarks and saved logins. The same is true on my Android phone. But I have a second laptop on which Firefox will not recognize my login credentials. I can log in to Mozilla Support, Monitor, etc., but not the browser itself. When I open Firefox, the login dialog pops up, but when I enter the password, it isn't recognized.

When i downloaded Firefox yesterday i noticed my desktop icons the pictures changed to Firefox picture is there any way i can them back to the way they were before. Barbara Hudson.

The alert message appears everytime I go back into gmail This browser version is no longer supported. Please upgrade to a supported browser. I checked that Firefox was last updated Feb. 26. So I'm understanding what's going on. thanks

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich Esset home auf meinen Computer und mein Tablett installiert. Immer wenn ich das Internet (FireFox) öffne kommt die Warnmeldung "Sicheres Banking & Surfen ist erst nach einem Neustart des Computers voll funktionsfähig." Den Neustart habe ich bereits mehrmals veranlasst. Die Warnmeldung kommt aber immer wieder. Was soll ich machen? Bin ich beim OnlineBanking und Surfen nicht sicher?
