I had got Firefox updated to 8.0 on 08-Nov-2011. But, even though I checked manually for update, my FF hasn't updated to 8.0.1. It just says I am running the latest version, i.e. 8.0.

Is version 8.0.1 not meant for general release (i.e. only for Mac and not for Windows) ?

On Windows it is only really needed if one uses Roboform 7.6.1 or older and gets crashes upon Firefox startup.
